Spring 2005 is here!
It's March, and the days in Chicago are getting a little longer each day-- almost long enough to shoot with the Pinholevan after our day jobs! Keep an eye out for new Black & White images soon, also an interactive schematic of the Pinholevan and how it works.

After two long years of dealing with problematic hosting services and headaches over getting a good working web site going...here is the much anticipated PinholeVan.com Version 2.0

There will be new information and features popping up regularly, as well as more interaction with the creators of the Pinhole Van.

We'd also like to wish Dave a Very Happy Birthday Today!!!

Joel has been quite busy this winter, teaching photography at several colleges in and around the Chicagoland area, as well as welcoming a new family member, Curtis Ray Beaman, who has assured us he will be assisting in take pictures very soon!

The Pinholevan emerged from storage this spring, after a brief recuperative interval out on a friend’s farm out in rural Illinois. The city life is sometimes hard for a Camera to stomach; with graffiti, parking enforcement, not to mention gas prices at their current levels. The Pinholevan is slated to make several appearances this spring as an instructional tool in class, as well as refining a new black & white photographic reversal process.

This new years’ subject of concentration will be in the Chicagoland area, a rich and ever-changing mine of images; the one-of-a-kind photographs are moments in time, a one to two hour visual diary entry of the life of a city. If you are able to assist in any way with the future of this unique project, please feel free to contact the artist at the address and phone number below.
